"Jam Session couldn't reach the internet"
These messages show when it takes 10 seconds or longer to try and start or end a session. It could be because:
Most likely: Your internet connection is very slow or unstable.
Try connecting to a different network, like your phone hotspot, and try again.
Possible: Your organisation's network has a restrictive firewall.
Jam Session uses external API calls to our domain api.jamsesh.xyz
to manage session data. Some networks don't allow new connections to be made without being whitelisted first.
- If you're only on that network temporarily, facilitate the session from a different one instead — like your phone hotspot. This is best for working with clients running bespoke sessions.
- If you're on that network a lot, ask your network administrator to whitelist
api.jamsesh.xyz
andfonts.jamsesh.xyz
.
Plausible: Jam Session is offline.
Occasionally our API and database can go offline. Try again soon, we should get on top of it quickly. We will have create a status page soon so you can confirm it.
